Hi, Iām Campbell Morrow, founder of BWM FINANCE.
My career in finance began in banking, where I worked across residential, business and commercial lending and developed a particular interest in working with self-employed clients and business owners.
That experience taught me something important.
The numbers matter, but understanding the story behind the numbers matters just as much.
A good lending solution starts with understanding how a client earns their income, how their assets and entities are structured, what they are trying to achieve and what they may want to do next.
That is the approach I have carried into mortgage and finance broking.
Making complex finance easier
One of the things I enjoy most about lending is solving problems.
Sometimes that might be helping a first home buyer understand the process and purchase their first property.
Other times it might involve an investor borrowing through a trust or company, a self-employed borrower whose financial position doesn't fit neatly into a standard lending model, or a commercial transaction involving multiple entities, properties and advisers.
The complexity can change significantly.
The approach doesn't.
Understand the client. Understand the transaction. Find an appropriate lending pathway. Explain it clearly. Then take ownership of getting it done.
The experience I want clients To have
Clients should never feel as though they have submitted an application and disappeared into a system.
I want you to know what is happening, what we need from you and what comes next.
My goal is for clients to finish the process thinking:
"That was easier than I expected."
That means clear communication, honest conversations and doing as much of the heavy lifting as possible.
And if something gets complicated, that's when I believe your broker should become more valuable, not less.
Building long-term relationships
I genuinely enjoy being part of a client's longer-term journey.
While I don't provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice, lending can play an important role in helping people pursue their property, business and lifestyle goals.
That might mean buying a home, building an investment portfolio, purchasing commercial premises or creating greater flexibility within an existing lending structure.
I want BWM Finance to become a trusted name that clients are comfortable referring to their friends, family and colleagues because they know those people will be looked after.
